This record blows my mind. Love it. So much, that I bought it twice. Sadly, the quality of the tape is not too great (which is a polite way of saying, it‘s unlistenable at times. Literally). That aside, this is probably my most cherished record of 2023 so far. Can‘t recommend it enough.

Exocrine is unstoppable, and this Season of Mist debut is their best album. Legend is more memorable throughout than their previous efforts. I picked a favorite track basically on a whim. My favorite tech death band.

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10
